"What details can you give on Pre-K Classes"?

Pre-K is a one hour class offered for children ages 3 to 5. It consists of ballet, tap and tumbling. We offer a creative dance class with a fun introduction to dance. It includes a short warm-up of gentle stretching, taking turns across the floor and development of balance, rhythm and motor skills. We make creative movement fun by keeping the children engaged and active.

"What are some details on the Combo Classes offered"?

Select one hour, one-and-a-half, or two hour classes in ballet and tap combo; ballet, tap and jazz combo; ballet, tap jazz and lyrical combo. Combo classes are offered so that a student can experience the different forms of dance at a more affordable rate.

"How does the Recreational Dance experience work"?

Recreational Dance is for the student who wishes a once a week class to experience the different forms of dance for education and fun. The atmosphere is fun and relaxed with the focus on learning beginner through advanced technique to develop confidence and poise while introducing and instilling the love of dance to all students. These students develop skills and learn choreography to perform in the year end recital.

"My child is ready to participate in competitions a few times a year, how will Dance Design Studio help prepare my child"?

We strive to provide hope and vision to those who dream of greatness. We offer competitive dance for the more serious dancer who wishes to be committed and dedicated. Our competitive teams attend 3 to 4 competitions per year as well as dance workshops and conventions. Competitive dance also involves several hours of dance training per week depending on age and ability. Offering the student many performing opportunities.

"How do you know which class would best suit my child"?

The Instructor and Director will place students in the appropriate class for their ability and level. Students will be evaluated at the end of the year for class placement for the following year. Private lessons are offered for each level based on availability. All scheduling must be approved by Director, Judy Burgio.

"Does Dance Design Studio hold a yearly recital"?

Our annual recital is tentatively scheduled for June 2nd and 3rd at Easton Area High School depending on availability. The tentative rehearsal date is June 1st. There is a charge for costumes as well as tickets. Tickets will be sold at both dress rehearsal and at the door of the recital. You are not limited as to the number of tickets you wish to purchase and are not required to purchase a minimum number of tickets. Because each performance will be professionally videotaped and available for purchase, under no circumstances will anyone be permitted to videotape the actual recital, however you may videotape the dress rehearsals.
